How does the heartbeat recording work?

Every Honey Bear comes with a heart-shaped recording device. To record your baby’s heartbeat:


  1. On your recording heart device, remove the plastic tab from the switch.
  2. Flick the switch to ‘R’ to start recording.
  3. When a red light appears, press and hold down the heart to record the audio into the microphone.
  4. Once you have finished recording, flick the switch to ‘P’ to save and playback your recording.
  5. Squeeze the heart to hear the recorded audio.
  6. To re-record the audio, repeat steps 2-4.
  7. You can now place the recording heart device back into your keepsake bear.
  8. Enjoy hearing the heartbeat recording every time you hug or squeeze the bear.


How do I get my baby's heartbeat recording?


At your pregnancy ultrasound, you may request (if available) to have your baby’s heartbeat recorded and/or converted into an audio file. By following the instructions above, you can record your baby’s heartbeat into the recording heart device. We recommend recording at least 10 seconds of your baby’s heartbeat.


I cannot heat the heartbeat recording anymore, how do I recover this?


The heartbeat recording is not recoverable if it has been overridden by another recording and/or was resetted. To avoid losing the heartbeat audio, we strongly recommend you backing up the recording onto a separate device – this way; you can re-record the heartbeat audio onto the recorder.


Tip: Tape over the switch to prevent the overriding of your original recording.


Is the recording heart device battery operated?

Yes, the recording heart device is battery-operated by CR2032 "button" batteries. Battery lifespan will depend on how frequently you use the recording heart device. To avoid losing the recording, we strongly recommend you backing up the recording onto a separate device.


Tip: We suggest to replace the demo batteries that are included for fresh ones before recording bub's heartbeat.



Are the products available in stores?

 Our online shop has launched recently, we are in the talks with other potential stock-lists locally and nationally. However, if you are in Melbourne, we do have one stock-list here https://preciousglimpse.com.au/ who are currently stocking our bears.


What materials is Honey Bear made our of?

The external layer is made out of plush fabric and internally is filled with PP cotton.



If I am unhappy with the products, can I return or exchange?

 Unfortunately, we simply can not exchange items because you dislike the product, we try to be as descriptive and transparent with our products through the entire site. You can return or exchange your products if it is faulty.


Does the product come with warranty?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Can I stock Honey Bear?

Yes, you definitely can and we encourage it, please contact us at business@honeybabycollection.com.au and we will send you a media pack on how Honey Baby Collection can help you.




Is Afterpay available?

Afterpay services are now operational and working, yay!


Is payment safe?

Yes, our payments are transacted through Paypal and Shopify




Does Honey Baby Collection offer gift packaging?

Currently we do not offer such services, but it is definitely on the books. We do offer personalised cards if you wish to send your gift elsewhere.


Can I order a product as a gift?

Yes, you can and have it delivered to another address. We can also pass a message without little note cards too.




How long does pre-order take?

Pre-orders depends on multitude of factors such as stock levels and shipment times, we will endeavour to keep you updated with the order. For stock-lists, we will let you know if our stocks are running low so you can scope stock levels on your end.




I am unsatisfied with the service, how do I go about making a complaint?
